This place has good pastries and one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches in town, but they desperately need more space. At least 60% of my visits, I end up having to stand awkwardly in everyone's way while waiting for my food and then eat it in my car because there is no available seat. It's a fast casual concept too, so it's hard to know how to order. Do I order for here and hope a seat opens? Or do I just order to go and then deal with all the wasted packaging if I don't have to eat in the car? Don't guess wrong on the order-in, or you'll be standing there plate in hand with no place to go.

This is an amazing neighborhood, Gem! The coffee is fantastic, unique roast that I will come back for. Breakfast sandwiches are some of the best I've had. Friendly staff and excellent service. Although they were very busy when we got there, the tables freed up quickly (patrons seemed very considerate of others waiting) and the food /drinks were promptly served. We will definitely be back.

Georgie's Corner Cafe should not be slept on! They serve responsibly sourced and locally roasted coffee and espresso, bake scratch-made pies, pastries, and cookies, and offer some of the best, most thoughtfully crafted breakfast and lunch dishes. You can truly taste the love and incredible flavors in every meal. Their goal is to provide the local community with a warm, inviting space to gather, dine, work, and create together--and they do just that. The interior is aesthetically pleasing--simple, modern, and crisp--while the outdoor seating is perfect for warm days in Shady Side. I tried a few items, and everything was fantastic! Drink: I had a hot latte with maple brown sugar--just the right amount of sweetness, and it totally hit the spot. Bakery: Their new coconut toffee cupcake was delightful--white chocolate, toffee chips, and toasted coconut mixed into the batter, topped with coconut buttercream, toasted coconut, and adorable little chocolate eggs. I also tried the honey butter corn cookie--a buttery corn cookie topped with honey and buttercream--OMG, wow! Food: The chicken Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, with grilled chicken, romaine, parmesan cheese, herbed croutons, and Caesar dressing. But my absolute favorite was the asparagus & ricotta toast--homemade focaccia toasted with fresh ricotta, sumac-spiced asparagus, lemon zest, and crispy shallots. The staff is extremely sweet and friendly, and I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this spot to everyone!

I got the Spinach Florentine Eggs Benedict, and it was incredible (5/5)! It was the best eggs Benedict I have had! Great flavor, and the English muffins were crunch on the outside but soft on the inside, which was a nice touch! The side potatoes were also good (4/5). The staff is friendly and nice, and the cafe has a good energy to it (4/5). I look forward to trying other items!

This is a super cute cafe in Shadyside! I felt like I was in a cafe somewhere in Europe. The butter croissant was the perfect flaky to buttery ratio and the cortado was delicious as well. The food came out relatively fast, despite it being busy. The cold brew coffee did curdle a bit, but otherwise tasted good. I want to come back at some point and try some of the desserts on the menu.

I've heard about this place but haven't had the chance to visit. So here we are on a very rainy Sunday morning... I found myself in Shadyside so I decided to check out Georgie's! It was easy to find as was the street parking. This cafe is so cute! There is indoor and outdoor seating. When I stepped inside, the cafe was completely full but there was no one in line to order. I placed a to-go order of hot chocolate, a breakfast sandwich, and a cinnamon roll. The hot chocolate is creamy and rich. Perfect for a dreary day! My egg sandwich was hot and delicious! The egg soufflé on the sandwich is top notch! I haven't tried the cinnamon roll yet, but the cashier said it was a good choice, so who am I disagree? lol anyways, I will def come back here for some delectable treats! Ps- they no longer offer WiFi. They encourage patrons to just sit and enjoy your food and then leave to make room for other patrons. So if you're looking for a cafe to work from, this is not the place. But it's still worth stopping in for a quick bite and/or drink!

This cafe is rly cute vibes. On the corner of the street, people shuffling in and out. Flowers on the table. My beautiful girlfriend across from me : 3!! We sat here after church with a cold brew (ok), pumpkin spice latte (good), and a pumpkin praline pie slice (super super delicious) and we yapped and held hands and did QT and it felt like we were the only two people in the world. rly nice date spot, nice to walk around the fall leaves in the neighborhood afterwards also.

Have had both the Prosciutto and Brie and the tuna sandwiches and everything is so so good. I absolutely love the fresh baguettes. The inside decor is lovely and I love the floral accents on each table. The baristas are all super friendly and the coffee is well made. Overall it's an excellent little cafe near all the shops on Walnut street.

This place has been on my list for awhile and then one of my co-workers recommended it, so I had to finally check it out! And it did not disappoint. When you walk in it is so cute inside, reminded me of a French bakery. It's small, so not a lot of seating but they do have some tables outside. We were there for breakfast and both had the breakfast sandwich. My husband had his on the homemade buttermilk biscuit and added a beyond sausage patty. I had mine on the chive English muffin. It came with a souffléd egg, cheddar cheese, arugula, roasted tomatoes and some kind of delicious sauce...I can't recall what it was. We both had iced coffee/latte and shared a pecan roll. The pecan roll was one of the best I have ever tasted, it was incredibly fresh. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they run a wonderful business because the flow of people in and out was consistent. All of their other pastries and desserts also looked amazing!
